The boys are co-hosting their Jack and Jill activity this weekend. They wanted to make these to go inside of the bags the kids will get as part of their Downtown Dallas Holiday Scavenger Hunt. This started out as a great idea....and ended up somewhat of a mess! But nevertheless, we did enjoy ourselves.

When I Grow Up, I Want to Be...
Not really sure. I do know that when I grow up I might want to be something different. I'm not saying I don't want to be a mom or a wife. But maybe I want to be a lawyer, a graphic artist, a social media specialists, flight attendant, sports announcer or other. I'm just saying. I have seriously contemplated a change in career. That is not to say I don't love what I do now, but perhaps it is time for a change. I have even considered going back to school. But I am not even sure what I would study or where to even start. I love that I have options, or maybe it's a mid-life crisis. What about you?

Ice outside, home inside.
I would have never imagined that we would have three days off from work because of ice in Dallas. As I enjoy my days with the hubby and kids I have thought of all the things I could do with this extra time. So, I have compiled a list of at least 10 things I could have done but did not do on my second day iced inside.
10. I could have cleaned my home office
9. I could have updated my blog
8. I should have finished the laundry
7. I could have completed some of my pending items for work
6. I could have made birthday cards and put them in the mail...(Is the mailman delivering?)
5. I could have started scrapbooks for the boys
4. I could have watched a few movies
3. I could have read a book or two
2. I should have read O Magazine, Essence, Real Simple, Ebony, D Magazine and Dallas Child
1. I could have taken a shower and put on clean pajamas!
Well, there is always tomorrow!
