This is just sad on so many levels. It is an alarming example of what is happening to our children. A loss of innocence that can not be recaptured.

Ice outside, home inside.

I would have never imagined that we would have three days off from work because of ice in Dallas. As I enjoy my days with the hubby and kids I have thought of all the things I could do with this extra time. So, I have compiled a list of at least 10 things I could have done but did not do on my second day iced inside.
10. I could have cleaned my home office
9. I could have updated my blog
8. I should have finished the laundry
7. I could have completed some of my pending items for work
6. I could have made birthday cards and put them in the mail...(Is the mailman delivering?)
5. I could have started scrapbooks for the boys
4. I could have watched a few movies
3. I could have read a book or two
2. I should have read O Magazine, Essence, Real Simple, Ebony, D Magazine and Dallas Child
1. I could have taken a shower and put on clean pajamas!

Well, there is always tomorrow!
